3rd Generation Limit: Citizenship can generally be claimed through a parent, grandparent or great-grandparent
General: Applicants must provide detailed documentation proving their lineage to a Slovak citizen+Specific Documents: Birth Certificates required for the applicant, the ancestor through whom they are claiming citizenship, and each generation in between+Marriage Certificates: Certified copies required if the lineage involves marriage+Death Certificates: Required for deceased ancestors to confirm the lineage+Additional Proof of Lineage: Other documents, such as baptismal records, census records, or military records, may be accepted if standard records are unavailable.
Citizenship Continuity: Slovak citizenship must have been maintained until the next descendant’s birth.
