• The Specified Skilled Worker Program has two different paths:+SSW1: designed for entry-level skilled workers in 14 designated sectors including nursing, food service, construction, and more. The visa is valid for one year initially (and up to 5 years total with renewals) and holders cannot bring family members. It requires higher language proficiency and technical skills. This visa is indefinitely renewable and allows holders to bring family members. It targets higher-skilled positions with correspondingly higher salary requirements. The applicant must also have a job offer from an approved employer.
